Job Summary
Identify damage, missing parts, and mechanical problems by inspecting vehicles at receipt (interior, exterior, odometer, trunk, engine compartment, frame, paint, engine noises, AC/heater, radio, tire condition); document vehicle condition by completing Vehicle Condition Report (VCR), capture digital photos, and perform data entry for in-lane and online sales; communicate effectively with management and staff to facilitate a seamless auction experience and resolve discrepancies; ensure compliance with auction procedures, policies, and safety guidelines and take actions to maintain a secure work environment; perform related duties such as locating/moving vehicles and starting/jump-starting vehicles; 1-2 years' experience in the car auction industry or related role; strong organizational, multitasking, and interpersonal skills; attention to detail and ability to verify/record vehicle information; familiarity with auction procedures/terminology; valid driver's license with clean driving record; ability to work in an auction lot setting.
