Create standards-aligned curriculum, including maps, unit plans, and lesson plans, while developing assessments to ensure student performance meets grade-level expectations. Deliver rigorous instruction in whole-class and individual settings, providing academic support and tutoring to small groups or individual students as needed. Analyze student achievement data to inform instructional development, enter performance data timely, and attend all Professional Learning Community Meetings and professional development sessions. Teach and enforce school-wide systems, rules, and consequences while communicating regularly with students and families. Report to work daily with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude, collaborating with staff and participating in field trips and sporting events throughout the year.
