Job Summary
Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT/CHT) role based at Thomasville Dialysis Center in Thomasville, NC. Under RN guidance, provides dialysis treatment to multiple patients, including setting up dialysis machines, preparing vascular access, initiating/monitoring/discontinuing treatment, tracking fluid removal, documenting vitals and treatments, and maintaining infection control. Requires CCHT/CHT certification, high school diploma, BLS, ability to work long hours, flexible schedule, and ability to work around blood/needles; training period involves 36-40 hours per week with potential inter-facility coverage. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Must have valid CCHT/CHT certification
- Must have or obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must be comfortable working around blood and needles including cannulation and obtaining labs
- Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
- Authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. (no sponsorship)
- Able to work long hours and stand for extended periods
- Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to follow infection control practices (PPE, universal precautions)
- Willingness to float or move between clinics as needed
- Experience with monitoring vital signs and documenting in medical records
