Job Summary
Provide individual and group counseling and therapy for pediatric hospice patients, families, and bereaved children; collaborate with RN case managers, social workers, chaplains, bereavement counselors, and volunteers; develop age-appropriate materials; support at bereavement events (Camp Braveheart, Celebration of Life); flexible schedule including some weeknights/weekends; maintain documentation and care plans; ensure compliance with state/federal laws and organizational policies.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or related field (required for hires after 5/26/2024) OR bachelor's degree in related field preferred for hires before 5/26/2024
- Valid Driver's License, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Professional licensure as required by the state where care is provided
- Clear Level 2 background check
