Job Summary
Collaborate with the health care team to provide social, emotional, and developmental support during pediatric patient illness and hospitalization. As a single-person program, you will operate independently, managing a variety of ages and diagnoses while demonstrating initiative to drive program creation and implementation. Utilize training opportunities with the sister hospital in Indianapolis to expand your expertise in creative arts therapy, school teaching, and pet therapy. This role offers potential for growth as you help build the Child Life team within Peyton Manning Children's Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Child Life Professional credentialed from the Association of Child Life Professionals obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date
- Bachelor's degree
- Self-sufficient
- Experienced with a variety of ages and diagnoses
- Motivated
- Self-sufficient
