Job Summary
Provide personal caregiving services and support in the client's home, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Prepare meals for clients with special diets and perform general housekeeping and household support activities. Administer medications as delegated and permitted by state regulations, while maintaining accurate communication and reporting changes in client condition to the care team. Offer compassionate companionship, emotional support, and limited assistance with vital signs in accordance with company guidelines. Assist with transportation to appointments, errands, and activities, and perform Passive Range of Motion activities when credentialed and trained.
Required Qualifications
- Current HCA or CNA license required (renewed annually)
- Ability to meet BCCU background check requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
