Job Summary
Greet residents and visitors, provide companionship and safe non-medical care, and perform routine tasks with little to no supervision. Take vital signs, assist with walking, bathing, dressing, and grooming, and manage medication reminders with proper documentation. Support daily activities by engaging in physical and mental exercises, assisting with dining, and maintaining the home environment through light housekeeping and laundry. Record daily care notes and complete activities within the electronic medical record system while following the written service plan. Work Wednesday-Saturday 6A-6:30P at La Loma Village in Litchfield Park, AZ, as part of a team recognized for health and safety excellence.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- one to three months' related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certificate of Completion of Caregiver Training Program approved by NCIA board to include ALTP number with supervisory, personal and directed hours
- Current or able to obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Current Adult CPR and First Aide Card
- Current AZ Food Handlers Card
