Job Summary
Certified Caregiver position at Solana at The Park in Surprise, AZ. Responsible for providing high-quality ADL support and resident-centered care to residents in the Resident Services Department. Shifts include 2PM–10PM Tue–Sat and 6AM–2PM Sun–Thu, with full-time and part-time opportunities and a pay rate between $19.00 and $20.00 per hour, depending on experience. Duties include assisting with bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, oral care, ambulation, transfers, meals, feeding, housekeeping, bed making, and laundry; uphold resident rights; assist residents to and from meals; collaborate with staff across departments; maintain safety and cleanliness; report changes in resident condition; maintain knowledge of care plans; document incidents per community policy; participate in required in-services. Qualifications require Current Certified Caregiver for Senior Living Certification, ServSafe/food handler certification, ability to obtain CPR/First-Aid, background check, drug screening, and strong communication and multitasking skills. Required Qualifications
- Current Certified Caregiver for Senior Living Certification in accordance with Arizona regulatory requirements
- Passed an approved food handler’s or ServSafe course as required by County, State and/or Community policy
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations
- Must possess ability to gain CPR/ First-Aid certification as needed in accordance with company policy and applicable state rules and regulations
- Must attend required in-services / workshops to further education of skills and community requirements
- Must be drug-free and submit to urinalysis drug screening upon hire and routinely
- Must have ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice
- Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in Standard English
