Job Summary
Med Tech / Certified Caregiver administers and documents regularly prescribed medications per physician orders under the Wellness Director and Medication Administration Regulations. Responsibilities include observing residents' responses to medications, taking vital signs prior to administration when required, documenting in the resident’s medical record, administering PRN medications, and assisting in developing and reviewing care plans. Requires AZ caregiver certification, state-approved Medication Administration training, and First Aid as per ALF regulations; CO QMAP certification preferred. Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with several years in senior living experience preferred. Shifts include FT nights (10:00pm–6:00am), PT mornings/afternoons, and PRN On Call; benefits include health, 401k, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Must have valid AZ caregiver certification
- QMAP certification in CO or equivalent
- First Aid certification as required by ALF regulations
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in assisted living or memory care with medication administration
- Proficiency in reading/writing English and safety documentation
