Job Summary
Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures. Test-drive vehicles and components using diagnostic tools and equipment. Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning. Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional services. Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs. Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications. Requires broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies, a strong customer-service mindset, and the ability to collaborate in a dynamic team environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Ability to learn new technology/procedures
- Ambitious, hardworking presence in a team environment
- Chrysler Certified Technicians and Diesel Technicians
- Chrysler Level 1-3 technicians
