Job Summary
Provide athletic training coverage for local high school home events, including games, practices, and tournaments; perform injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation; collaborate with athletes, families, coaches, athletic directors, and physicians to ensure safe return-to-play decisions; communicate injury status and care plans; conduct assessments, present findings to physicians, deliver patient education, and support departmental needs; requires strong anatomy/physiology knowledge, age-appropriate care, CPR/AED certification, and professional conduct.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Athletic Training (BOC certification and Illinois AT license or eligibility)
- CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)
- 1–2 years of experience preferred
