Job Summary
Prepare patients for exams by obtaining histories, proper imaging, and clinical information through the electronic medical record system. Assist with in-office procedures, including splinting, casting application and removal, and drawing injections as directed by providers. Accurately fit patients with durable medical equipment and facilitate outside services such as physical therapy and radiology. Maintain exam rooms by ensuring they are properly stocked and communicate regularly with MDs and PAs regarding patient care. Work one night a week and two Saturdays a month, with weekly or daily travel to several clinics.
Required Qualifications
- Must have current NATA certification
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the general public
- Two to five years as an ATC
- Communication skills
- Willingness to travel to several clinics on a weekly/daily basis
- Ability to work one night a week and two Saturdays a month
- Computer skills: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Electronic Medical Records
- Candidates will be courteous, articulate and reliable
- Must be able to multi-task in a busy, professional, fast-moving environment while maintaining excellent customer service
