Job Summary
Provide athletic training services under physician direction for secondary schools and PRN needs, including urgent care, injury assessment, and rehabilitation. Manage immediate care for athletic events, pre-game taping, and patient safety protocols while maintaining clinic flow and confidentiality. Perform procedures such as joint injections, casting, and suture care, alongside teaching home exercise programs and brace fitting. Document medical information accurately, coordinate callbacks with pharmacies and insurers, and present educational programs for coaches and community groups. Comply with all Stormont Vail Health policies and mandatory training requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Athletic Training, Exercise Science, Physiology, Physical Education or another related 4 year degree
- Athletic Trainer (AT) - KSBHA
- Must be available for evening and weekend events
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
