Job Summary
Part-time hourly Certified Athletic Therapist (CAT(C)) providing prevention, assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and return-to-play management for varsity student-athletes in a high-performance sport environment. Duties include on-field and clinical injury assessment, emergency care, concussion management, documentation in PRIVIT, and coordination of referrals; supervision and mentorship of student Athletic Therapists in clinical and field settings; potential travel as required by league policy; collaboration with coaches, physicians, strength/conditioning staff, and mental performance professionals; and ensuring athletics health, safety, and performance while supporting travel with varsity teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Therapy or relevant field
- 1-2 years certified athletic therapy
- 1-2 years working in a multi-sport environment
- CAT(C) designation in good standing with CATA
- Current First Responder Training
- Current First Aid, CPR & AED Certification
- Experience supervising or mentoring students is considered an asset
- Experience working in varsity, collegiate, or high-performance sport environments preferred
