Job Summary
Conduct field audits of ongoing and completed vegetation management jobs to ensure compliance with job requirements and approved tree removal and pruning standards. Secure property owner permission before contractors commence tree removal and promptly inform the Client's Representative in writing of any instances where permission or permits cannot be obtained. Supervise individual tree replacement and high production seedling planting activities, ensuring proper tree selection and ISA-compliant techniques. Perform emergency or storm-related tree work within twenty-four hours of notification when required. Submit post-audit forms indicating the adequacy of completed work and forward them to the appropriate Client Representative.
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the US
- Willingness to travel
- Certified Arborist through (ISA, ASCA or Certified or Degreed Forester)
- Licensed, Registered and/or Certified in Vegetation Management, Forestry, or Arboriculture
- Two years' experience working on vegetation management issues for utility rights of way
- Strong organizational/time management skills
- Excellent communication both verbal and written with attention to detail
- Familiarity with vegetation management contractors' work practices, proper arboricultural techniques and practices, Client's specification or other requirements as directed by Client, and government agency requirements related to line clearances and fire prevention
- Complete Quality profiled training with the applicable timelines as directed by Client
