Job Summary
Conduct credible real estate appraisals for internal and external clients by applying USPAP standards, producing market value reports, and performing physical property inspections to verify attributes. Execute monthly and annual benchmark studies, maintain accurate sales databases, and analyze building costs to support lending functions and valuation decisions. Develop an external book of business while providing market synopses to Ag Lending, Credit Underwriting, and other departments. Maintain a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser license through continuing education and mentor Associate Appraisers. Requires a Bachelor's degree, three years of appraisal experience, and a valid driver's license. Based in Duluth, MN with up to 50% remote flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture-Business, Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
- Minimum 3 years of related experience as a Certified Appraiser
- Valid driver's license
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States
- Compeer is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time
