Job Summary
The Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant provides anesthetic care under supervision, assisting with emergency situations and ensuring patient safety during procedures. Responsibilities include administering anesthesia, performing CPR, managing ventilator settings, and supporting anesthesiologist-led research and education.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant training program
- Certification by the NCCAA (National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants)
- Registered with the State Medical Board of Ohio as an Anesthesiologist Assistant
- Active BLS, ACLS and PALS Certification (must be active within 90 days of hire)
