Job Summary
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant provides patient care and coordinates with the care team in a medical office setting; assists physicians with clinical procedures; handles direct and/or telephone patient interactions; requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of clinical experience in a medical office/clinic or hospital, and current CPR/BLS certification or eligibility for certification; must have or obtain CMA certification (CMM M.A exam course if not yet certified); on-site role in Briarcliff Manor, NY, with Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm schedule; generous benefits including retirement and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of clinical experience in a medical office / clinic or hospital setting, or graduate of an accredited medical assistant program
- Record of prior stable employment and / or favorable references
- Current CPR / BLS certification (if already certified) or eligibility for certification
- Current certification as a medical assistant or eligible for certification
- Must obtain certification through the CMM M.A exam course if not yet certified at time of employment
