Job Summary
Certification Specialist responsible for resident recertifications, eligibility processing, and leasing support in HUD/LIHTC-regulated properties. Performs resident selection/orientation, processes interim and annual recertifications, maintains waiting lists and files per HUD regulations, assists with goal setting and property audits, handles daily office duties, processes applications for eligibility, sends billing notices, greets guests, and supports Community Manager. Requires RealPage OneSite experience, HUD/LIHTC knowledge, strong communication and customer service skills, and ability to multi-task in a 8:30AM-5:00PM, Monday-Friday schedule in Philadelphia, PA.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3-4 years of certification experience (offset allowed)
- HUD experience required
- Experience with recertifications, RealPage OneSite, and inspections
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Ability to multi-task and work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Experience in leasing and occupancy-related tasks
- Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
