Job Summary
Oversee all necessary paperwork, processing, and certification of foster families throughout the approval process with extreme detail. Train groups and guide prospective foster families on required weekend trainings. Monitor and report file deficiencies to the Foster parent, Family Specialist, and Program Director. Coordinate information requests from prospective foster parents and ensure follow-up. Assess family history and background to determine appropriateness for certification. Attend agency, OKDHS, and required trainings to maintain social work licensure. Report ongoing pre-licensure and post-licensure foster home concerns. Assist with internal audits and coordinate the Resource Family Assessment. Requires a Bachelor's in Social Work, 2+ years experience, valid Oklahoma driver's license, and ability to work evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related social services field
- 2+ years of experience in a social service or case management role
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Ability to pass background check, pre-employment drug screening, and physical
- Minimum age 21 years old
