Certification Lab Engineer

Plan and execute certification and qualification tests for aircraft seats and cabin interiors, including static, dynamic, and flammability trials. Ensure all examinations are reliable, compliant with standards, and delivered on schedule. Maintain readiness of test facilities, instruments, and fixtures by managing maintenance, calibration, and spare parts procurement. Develop, build, and optimize test setups and platforms while supporting conformity assessments. Collaborate closely with internal teams, customers, suppliers, OEMs, and authorities to meet project targets and certification requirements. Analyze technical challenges, identify risks in the certification process, and develop appropriate solutions. Document test results and certification activities meticulously to ensure traceability of all relevant requirements. Serve as the primary contact for certification topics, particularly in flammability and static/dynamic testing areas. Monitor current standards, regulations, and industry trends to develop best practices and share expertise in projects and meetings.
