Job Summary

Author certification test plans, reports, and project documentation to verify electrical equipment compliance with FAA TSO, STC, and PMA requirements. Execute test programs and coordinate activities with external labs while designing, building, and specifying necessary test equipment. Evaluate new technology components to improve testing quality, functionality, and safety, and provide production test support as required. Manage the entire testing process from project start to finish, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and committed deadlines.

Required Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED
  • minimum of 3 years of experience in testing and certifying electrical equipment
  • direct experience with industry, regulatory, and/or military standards/specifications
  • experienced in using Oscilloscopes, DVMs, data acquisition, and other electrical test equipment
  • proficient with Microsoft Office
  • strong attention to detail
  • organized, focused and results oriented
  • problem-solver with critical thinking and prioritizing skills
  • excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Desired Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
  • familiarity/experience with RTCA DO-160, RTCA DO-311A, MIL-STD-810G/MIL-STD-461F and FAA TSO
