Job Summary
Maintain accurate safety, certification, medical, and training records for Officers and Crew in line with maritime and company standards. Enter and track STCW Safety Certifications, national seafarer medical records, and Bahamas Maritime Authority Endorsement applications. Process Marine and Engineering Officers' Professional Training forms, reconcile training costs charged to the Disney Cruise Line UK Office CTA card, and manage Bahamian Seaman's Books applications. Submit shoreside assignment requests and assist with general administrative support including travel arrangements and expense accounts. This fixed-term contract role is based in London Hammersmith, working four days a week with one day remote, until September 2027. You will support operational excellence within Disney Signature Experiences, ensuring compliance for unforgettable guest and crew experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing administrative processes and maintaining accurate records in a professional environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for local and international coordination
- Demonstrated proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and HR systems
- Organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy, including excellent follow-through on tasks
- Ability to be flexible, proactive, highly organized, and able to easily shift priorities
- Diplomacy, strong business acumen, integrity and ability to handle confidential information
- Capability to work independently with limited supervision while maintaining effective collaboration with the wider team
- Aptitude to quickly learn new systems, processes, and maritime training requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in an administrative role within a shipping or cruise environment
- Knowledge of maritime training requirements and the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers
