Job Summary
As an Early Childhood Educator, provide quality education and care to children aged 0-5, contribute to planning educational programs that support a child’s learning, and build strong relationships with children, families, and the community. The role emphasizes safeguarding, child safety, and culturally safe practices within a community-focused preschool environment. The position involves 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a fixed full-time schedule, at Warrawong Community Preschool under Big Fat Smile. A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education is required, along with compliance checks and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- A cleared valid NSW Working with Children’s Check (WWCC)
- A cleared National Criminal Record Check
- Demonstrated commitment to protecting all children from abuse, harm and neglect
- Demonstrated commitment to cultural safety for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families
- Evidence of completion of the National Child Safety Training Foundation Course
- Details of a minimum two referees, where one must be a manager or supervisor at your current or most recent workplace
