Job Summary
Conduct educational program planning, delivery, and evaluation aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework while recording observations to support individual child development. Implement daily care routines, maintain a safe environment, and support the inclusion of children with additional needs, disabilities, and diverse cultural backgrounds. Build warm, respectful relationships with children and families while adhering to National Quality Framework standards, food safety requirements, and Thrive's policies. This part-time role is based in New South Wales or Victoria and requires a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, a current Working with Children Check, and First Aid qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, ACECQA approved, or actively working towards it
- A current Working with Children Check for the state the role is based in
- Current First Aid qualification
- Skills, knowledge and training in food safety and hygienic food handling
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and current practice in early childhood
- The ability to work as part of a team, take direction and seek support when you need it
