Job Summary

Conduct full-time early childhood education and care for children from birth to six years, implementing contemporary, evidence-informed pedagogy and exploring the RIE approach. Build respectful connections with children, families, and colleagues while maintaining professional boundaries and fostering a safe, inclusive environment. Demonstrate understanding of child safe practices and safeguarding responsibilities, ensuring compliance with NSW Working with Children Check requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid NSW Working with Children Check
  • Demonstrated understanding of contemporary child safe practices, including child safeguarding responsibilities
  • Available for full-time work Monday to Friday, with shifts rostered between 6:30 AM-6:30 PM, and able to be flexible as required
  • Considerable recent experience in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector, ideally across multiple age groups or open to working with any age group
  • ACECQA-approved Certificate III and/or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or currently working towards either qualification)
  • Current Food Safety training, with certificate to be provided
  • Current Child Protection training, including a recognised course code for 'Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk', with evidence to be provided
  • Current Child Safety training (Geccko), with certificate to be provided
  • Applicants who progress will be required to provide a minimum of two professional referees
