Job Summary
Prioritise and direct personnel to perform tyre fitting and workshop maintenance tasks efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively. Maintain a safe workforce by providing constructive feedback and initiatives for increased safety and performance while demonstrating high-level supervision to ensure all safety systems are present. Lead a team of two technicians, ensuring all personnel comply with site policies, procedures, and Golden Rules through active promotion of a zero-harm safety culture. Operate under an 8:6 roster with 12.5-hour days at Brockman 4, managing the Komatsu 830E primary fleet. This development role offers ongoing in-house training and career progression within Otraco International's leading earthmover tyre management services.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy; AUR21916/ AUR21920
- A valid HR Driving licence
- A current WorkSafe forklift licence
- Statutory 26 Advantageous
- Possess a high level of maturity, initiative and the ability to work well under pressure
- An understanding that safety is paramount, with a high attention to detail to abide by site safety procedures
- Ability to work autonomously
Desired Qualifications
- Preferably a minimum of 2 years of Earthmover tyre fitting experience on mine sites
