Job Summary
Conduct home health visits for clients in Northampton and Monroe County, managing activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, oral feeding, and range of motion exercises. Perform light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, bed making, and assist with ambulation while monitoring vital signs. Provide medication assistance and use mechanical lifting devices for transfers. Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio with reliable transportation, completing competency evaluations and background checks. Enjoy flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and access to PPE and infection prevention protocols within a stable, multi-disciplinary care team.
Required Qualifications
- Must be certified
- Must have a car
- Must have access to reliable transportation
- Have at least one year of work experience
- Must be listed on the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing
- Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
- Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
- Have a criminal background check completed
- Meet all state requirements
