Job Summary
Academic practicum internship at Momentive Technologies focusing on BN powder morphologies, BN/SA blends, and characterization of their performance in polymer composites. Activities include observing and participating in supervised laboratory tasks related to powder preparation and composite formulation, evaluating powder characteristics and filler-polymer performance metrics, designing experiments and test plans using six sigma tools, executing tests, analyzing data, and writing technical reports with opportunities to present results to a technical audience. The project is carried out in collaboration with and under the guidance of a team of experienced engineers; supervision and training are provided.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor student in materials science and engineering, chemical engineering, polymer science, bioengineering, chemistry, physics, biology or related field
