Job Summary
Develop and drive fabrication of advanced SOFC cells, managing powder and ink formulation, forming, coating, and sintering processes. Test and scale manufacturing methods to improve performance, repeatability, and yield while collaborating on seal and interconnect materials. Build robust, repeatable processes that transition research methods to scalable production and document them for team use. Transition fabrication from lab-scale prototypes to commercial module design, ensuring every experiment maps to product milestones.
Required Qualifications
- BS or MS or PhD degree
- 2-6+ years of experience in ceramic engineering
- 2-6+ years of experience in material process engineering
- 2-6+ years of experience in SOFC fabrication
- Experience with ceramic processing such as tape casting
- Experience with ceramic processing such as screen printing
- Experience with ceramic processing such as slurry formulation
- Experience with ceramic processing such as sintering
- Experience with ceramic processing such as extrusion
- Experience with related manufacturing techniques
