Job Summary
Provide visionary leadership to advance the mission while preserving the resident-centered culture, ensuring operational excellence and financial stewardship within a $400,000 budget. Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy as the primary fundraiser, cultivating relationships with donors and expanding grant opportunities to ensure long-term stability. Strengthen structured daily activities, life-skills programming, and resident engagement systems to support recovery-oriented, person-centered care for adults with serious mental illness. Serve as the Board's chief strategic advisor, overseeing human resources, technology, and risk management while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. Act as the primary community ambassador to increase public awareness and strengthen partnerships with behavioral health providers and civic organizations.
Required Qualifications
- Progressive nonprofit leadership experience
- Experience supervising and developing professional staff
- Strong financial management and budgeting experience
- Demonstrated fundraising and major gift experience
- Demonstrated success working with governing boards
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Bachelor's degree preferably in psychology or social work
Desired Qualifications
- Behavioral health, residential services, or human services leadership experience
- Grant development experience
- Community partnership development experience
- Master's degree or equivalent leadership experience preferred
