Job Summary
Set the long-term strategy and annual priorities for Haryana Rising, defining the vision to transform Gurugram into a world-class city through reforms in governance, urban planning, municipal finance, infrastructure, mobility, and service delivery. Lead the first phase of this transformation before expanding the organization's work to export-led industrial growth and statewide competitiveness. Recruit, develop, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of 5–7 professionals while building evidence-based policy recommendations that translate analysis into practical reforms and implementation roadmaps for the government. Establish trusted partnerships with the Chief Minister's Office, Chief Secretary, state departments, industry leaders, philanthropies, universities, and leading think tanks. Help develop data dashboards, pilot initiatives, and monitoring mechanisms to support reform implementation, building the institution into a respected entity known for analytical rigour and measurable impact.
Required Qualifications
- Approximately 15–20 years of leadership experience in consulting, public policy, government, economics, infrastructure, urban development or related fields
- Strong understanding of economic growth, cities, competitiveness and public policy
- Demonstrated success engaging senior political, bureaucratic and industry stakeholders
- Experience building and leading high-performing teams
- Outstanding analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- Deep understanding of economic development and urban transformation
- Exceptional communication, influencing and relationship-building skills
- Gravitas to work effectively with senior government and business leaders
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort building a new institution from the ground up
- High integrity, sound judgement, resilience and commitment to public impact
Desired Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualification in Economics, Public Policy, Management, Urban Planning or a related discipline preferred
