Job Summary
Lead the China subsidiary as General Manager & CEO on a fixed-term contract, overseeing full operations, P&L ownership, budget control and KPI delivery within a matrix structure; drive commercial strategy aligned with group direction, strengthen client/vendor relationships, and manage risk, legal, finance and IT functions while embedding a high-performance culture that harmonizes German and Chinese business values.
Required Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent in economics, finance or business
- Ten or more years of experience in commercial lending and/or leasing
- At least three years of leadership experience in an international setting
- Proven experience managing a comparable business with full P&L responsibility
- Solid background across sales, credit, operations and portfolio management
- Fluent English; Chinese language skills desirable
- Strong understanding of Chinese business culture
- Familiarity with German corporate culture and working practices
