Centrifugal Compressor Field Service Engineer (M/F/D)

Job Summary
Lead installation, maintenance, overhaul, troubleshooting and commissioning of Centrifugal Compressor products at customer sites. Provide technical direction for site activities and coordinate internal teams and skilled labor to ensure safety, compliance and quality. Manage customer and contractor meetings, update action plans, and advise on technical solutions. Ensure internal training, compliance and quality documentation is updated and followed. Must demonstrate knowledge of rotating equipment installation/maintenance, have energy/oil & gas experience, possess strong customer-service orientation, and communicate complex technical information clearly. Willingness to travel up to ~70%, with English and Italian language proficiency, and valid EU passport/work permit. Flexible to engage in site work and offshore facilities as required.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated good working knowledge of installation and maintenance of rotating equipment
- Experience in a mechanical role within energy or oil and gas environments (or similar)
- Strong customer-service orientation and experience guiding customers through technical decisions
- Ability to communicate complex technical information to audiences with varying technical understanding
- High awareness of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance and associated risks
- Self-starter with ability to make decisions and innovate solutions
- Excellent verbal and written English; Italian language proficiency
- EU passport/European work permit; eligible to work in Italy
