Centre of Excellence Manager – Marketing Automation

Centre of Excellence Manager for Marketing Automation who will own the setup, configuration and ongoing evolution of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, shaping how customer journeys are designed and activated across lifecycle stages. You will partner across marketing, growth, customer experience and technology to align platform capability with business outcomes, enable teams through training and standards, and act as a bridge between retail and technology to guide decisions and roadmap direction. You’ll operate in a complex, fast-evolving environment, influence teams on what great looks like as capability grows, and drive data-led engagement to unlock growth. Most importantly, you’re motivated by shaping how Contact uses marketing automation to deliver high-quality, personalised customer experiences at scale. You’ll bring strong Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience, a deep understanding of data and systems, collaboration across functions, excellent stakeholder management, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. Additional context notes that this role supports flexible working from NZ hubs (Auckland, Wellington, Tauranga) with HYBRID arrangements. You will be joining a team dedicated to improving lifecycle customer engagement and growth through automation and data.
