Job Summary
Coordinate highly specialized surgical procedures by scheduling and authorizing complex interventions (neurosurgery, cardiothoracic, orthopedic), manage specialized equipment and pre-operative protocols, perform insurance verification for surgical plans, assess medical necessity to ensure regulatory compliance and optimize reimbursement, act as primary liaison between surgeons, specialized departments, and hospital staff, maintain precise documentation for HIPAA-compliant reimbursement, identify opportunities for process improvements with clinical teams, and provide training in specialized scheduling practices while upholding Saint Francis Healthcare System's mission and values.
Required Qualifications
