Centralized Staffing Coordinator - Multiple locations

Job Summary
Create and edit schedules for nursing departments into the electronic staffing system, assigning specialty roles and preparing accurate daily work schedules that reflect forecasted needs. Approve or deny schedule and timecard requests based on skill mix, balancing published schedules to ensure unit efficiency and managing unplanned shift vacancies within 24 hours of shift time. Contact available staff to fill open shifts, evaluate market staffing needs for recruiting, and distribute reports to appropriate leaders. Perform these duties for all four location hospitals during evening and night shifts, Monday through Sunday, with 12-hour rotations.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year experience with staffing & scheduling software
- Associate degree in business, Data Management, or Related Field
- Computer skills to include Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
