Job Summary
Answer patient phone calls to schedule appointments and verify demographics, insurance, and preferred providers. Complete scheduling and documentation accurately in Athena, confirm primary care physicians to ensure continuity of care, and provide accurate visit information including arrival times and special requirements. Perform reminder calls for upcoming appointments and update emergency contact details. Adhere to HIPAA confidentiality requirements. Work a minimum of one Saturday every four weeks. Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Polish is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated computer knowledge
- Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Polish
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Scheduling staff are expected to work a minimum of one (1) Saturday every four (4) weeks
