Job Summary
Lead a specific unit(s) as a registered professional nurse, managing clinical, financial, and human resources to promote staff retention and safety. Engage staff in shared governance decision-making, analyze operational data to reduce waste, and establish partnerships with physicians and departments to foster collaboration. Hold leaders and staff accountable for performance standards while modeling professional ethics, coaching new hires, and implementing evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes. Manage the operational budget, ensure compliance with licensure and accreditation standards, and proactively mitigate risks through reflective practice and change management strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Registered professional nurse
- Bachelors Nursing
- Masters Nursing
- BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor or BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support
- RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact or RN - Reg Nurse (Single State)
- Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in nursing management
