Job Summary
Centralized Patient Access Rep III responsible for scheduling appointments across multiple medical practice locations, processing patient orders/referrals, screening patients for safety, and communicating with the patient care team to provide information and updates related to their care. Requires experience in office/clerical/call-center environments, strong computer skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and EMR/EPIC familiarity to support efficient, patient-centered scheduling and coordination across a centralized team setting.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two (2) year office, clerical, or call center experience; preferably in a medical setting.
- Will accept two (2) years medical education in lieu of experience.
- Minimum three (3) years customer service experience required or 6 months meeting call center metrics in as a CPAR-II (preferred)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Electronic Medical Record experience; EPIC preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, referrals/orders and medical insurance preferred
- Familiarity with data entry and complex scheduling preferred
- Proficient computer skills operating multiple systems in a windows-based environment
