Job Summary
Receive and review parts requests from the service department, clarifying requirements as needed. Use manufacturer catalogs, online databases, and direct supplier communications to research and verify part details, including pricing, availability, and lead times. Compare options from multiple vendors to identify the most effective sourcing solution and track industry trends to anticipate supply challenges. Document all research findings and maintain relationships with manufacturers and suppliers to expand resources. This position operates within our 100% remote Dealership Support Center, supporting exceptional customer experiences by reducing downtime and improving service efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must have experience with ordering parts through both manufacturer and supplier portals
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to validate information from multiple sources
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in every procurement decision
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple research tasks simultaneously
- Problem-solving mindset, especially when faced with hard-to-find or obsolete parts
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with a team
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal, for vendor and internal interactions
