Job Summary
Process RFP submissions and market new and renewal business to maintain client insurance programs by scrubbing intake forms, preparing case submissions, and analyzing coverage comparisons. Create, complete, or review marketing spreadsheets and internal underwriting submissions for renewals while serving as the liaison between the service team and insurance carriers. Collaborate on developing renewal timelines, updating agency recordkeeping systems, and attending meetings with service teams and carriers. Communicate daily correspondence between carriers, the service team, and producers regarding proposal status. Analyze insurance quotes, negotiate terms, and utilize carrier online rating programs to stay current on market conditions and policy forms. Identify and address coverage gaps within the unit. Requires a Texas L&H license, proficiency in BenefitPoint, ImageRight, and SmartSheet, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed: Texas L&H Agent or able to obtain Texas L&H license

- Demonstrate ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Demonstrate proactive work style - Does not have to be asked or reminded of tasks
- Ability to learn, analyze and comprehend employee benefits lines of insurance
- Demonstrate ability to assist colleagues in the service of clients effectively through problem solving, appropriate confidentiality, diplomacy, sensitivity and tactfulness
- Willing to work overtime due to cyclical nature of business if necessary
