Centralized Lending Specialist

Job Summary

Answer inbound and outbound calls to guide clients on home financing, refinancing, and home equity lines of credit. Analyze financial goals to determine optimal lending solutions, submit mortgage applications, and assist with gathering supporting documentation. Communicate consistently throughout the origination process while leveraging defined policies to manage risks and meet guidelines. Identify referral opportunities to recommend bank products and expedite post-sale issue resolution. This role requires SAFE Act registration and the ability to work weekends or extended hours as needed.

  • ability to handle multiple lines of business and models to support changing business needs
  • ability to independently work with other business partners to expedite post-sale issues or problem resolution
  • ability to effectively balance performance, operational risk, and client relationship care
  • commitment to professional ethic and thoroughness in incorporating relevant regulatory due diligence as well as complying with all Federal and State Compliance policies
  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
  • SAFE Act registration

Desired Qualifications

  • contact center experience
  • knowledge of loan products (Conventional, Jumbo and Government)
  • ability to analyze financial and credit data to advise clients of product/pricing policies and guidelines and gather any additional required information
  • Familiarity with FHA and HUD guidelines
  • Knowledge of processing underwriting and/or closing procedures/federal lending regulations governing real estate lending
  • ability to analyze and comprehend complex financial data and provide financial alternatives
  • Strong consultative skills including the ability to ask critical questions to identify opportunities
