Job Summary
Centralized Financial Services Team Lead provides oversight and leadership to the Financial Services department, assisting the Manager with scheduling, planning, training, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and agency regulations. Responsible for project management control, preparing reports, updating processes, and motivating and guiding Financial Services Analysts. Key duties include overseeing the financial aid process (verification, ISIR corrections, professional judgments, COD rejects, R2T4s, disbursement dates), ensuring Title IV policy compliance, handling customer service for staff and students, reporting team activity, and leading development efforts (training, performance improvement, and hiring support). Requires an Associate’s degree (or equivalent), 1-2 years of progressive financial aid experience, familiarity with CampusVue/Broadleaf, and strong writing and communication skills. Must be able to operate in a dynamic environment and manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail. This role may involve in-person work at Arlington, TX; Phoenix, AZ; and remote work in the US.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree (or equivalent experience and education) in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field
- 1-2 years of progressive financial aid experience
- Experience with student management software (e.g., CampusVue and Broadleaf)
- Solid working knowledge of federal/state government education regulations
- Knowledge of Title IV Compliance
- Strong communication skills
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
