Job Summary
Transport patients safely within the healthcare facility, escort patients to and from examination rooms, diagnostic areas, operating rooms, or other treatment locations, and ensure their safety and comfort. Receive and prioritize messages, documents, and supplies for delivery throughout the facility; deliver to appropriate recipients while maintaining confidentiality. Operate equipment such as wheelchairs or stretchers as needed and follow established protocols for patient transportation; strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience in a healthcare or customer service-related role
