Job Summary
Analyst to support the U.S. Army Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE) G-3 at Fort Benning, GA, serving as the Central Tasking Office (CTO) & Tasking Operations Orders Analyst. Responsibilities include coordinating with lead staff action agents and supervisors to facilitate information exchange and rapid processing of short-suspense taskings; serving as the G-3 Central Tasking Office POC for inquiries from principal staff officers and commanders; developing and implementing methods to track task order performance across MCoE staff and subordinate units; preparing executive summaries, updates, and briefings for government review and approval; and utilizing office automation tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to compile recurring and special reports. Additional duties involve coordinating requirements involving “by name” or “line number” assignments and supporting planning, scheduling, and strategic analysis activities. The role requires a degree in a related field (or equivalent experience), strong communication skills, familiarity with military protocol, and an active Secret clearance with some travel anticipated.
Required Qualifications
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products
- Strong communications skills (oral and written), ability to work cooperatively with military / civilian workforce
- Working knowledge / understanding of military protocol / chain of command
- Degree in General Business, Accounting, Management, Contracting, Bookkeeping, Business/Technical Writing, or English (or equivalent experience)
- Former Senior NCO or Officer with similar experience as outlined in this announcement is preferred
- Clearance: Active Secret Clearance is Required
- Location: Fort Benning, GA
- Travel: Some Travel will be required
