Distributes reusable supplies and equipment; performs decontamination and terminal sterilization per established guidelines; assists supervisor with daily departmental activities and orientation of new associates; maintains confidentiality of sensitive information; demonstrates CARES values and teamwork; requires high school diploma or equivalent and certification through IAHCSMM or equivalent within 18 months; prior Central Sterile Supply experience preferred; on-site role with Thompson Health.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification through IAHCSMM or equivalent within 18 months of employment
- One to three years as a technician of Central Sterile Supply preferred
- No experience is required
