Central/Southern Indiana CEI Practice Leader

Job Summary
Lead the Central/Southern Indiana CEI team and manage INDOT and Local Public Agency road and bridge construction projects. Coordinate project meetings with stakeholders, recruit and mentor staff, and oversee daily operations including task assignment, work product reviews, and performance appraisals. Resolve complex technical and contractual issues, develop project budgets, and monitor subconsultant progress and vendor invoices. Assist State and Regional Practice Leaders with identifying opportunities and implementing client development strategies. Requires a B.S. in civil engineering, 8+ years of construction project management experience, and proficiency in SiteManager and AASHTOWare software.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in civil engineering or related field
- 8+ years of INDOT and/or LPA construction project management experience
- Experience leading a team of construction inspection and administrative personnel
- Experience with business development activities, including client engagement, proposal development, and strategic planning
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Proficient in use of SiteManager and AASHTOWare Project software platforms
- Familiar with INDOT and/or LPA project administration and documentation requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, motivated and self-starting, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a valid driver's license with good driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Indiana P.E. license preferred but not required
