Job Summary
Central Processing Technician at Park City Surgery Center responsible for decontaminating, assembling, inspecting, packaging, and sterilizing surgical instruments and trays; operating sterilization equipment (autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners); maintaining documentation per AAMI/AORN standards; ensuring timely instrument turnover for surgeries; managing inventory and communicating with OR staff to meet surgical demands. Shifts rotate between 6:00 AM and 8:30 PM. Requires CRCST or equivalent certification and prior sterile processing experience, ideally in orthopedic or ambulatory surgery settings. Required Qualifications
- Certification (CRCST or equivalent) required
- Previous sterile processing experience, ideally in an orthopedic or ambulatory surgery setting
