Job Summary
Answer phones, file and mail patient reports, and fax communications as part of clerical duties. Prepare specimens for reference lab testing and handle, label, and process all samples. Perform outpatient and new employee blood draws at the off-site patient service center. Requires 1-2 years of recent phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma or GED, and knowledge of hospital and federal patient safety regulations. Must have transportation to the location. This role supports the Laboratory services team at St. Francis Hospital, a national leader in Cardiology and GI Surgery within Catholic Health.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years recent phlebotomy experience
- HS Diploma/GED
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft applications including Outlook
- Must have transportation to report to our off site patient service center to draw bloods
Desired Qualifications
- Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy Certification
